TDHC 400: Handheld Thermochron Downloader

A: You can clear the TDHC400 memory by clicking the "Format" button in the TDHC Manager software. The TDHC400 cannot remission the logger. So, you would need enable rollover to have the logger continue indefinitely. Answer provided by:  David Cooley (12/22/2017)

Thank you for the inquiry. Please note the TDHC400 and the Thermochrons do not have a wireless download capability. The TDHC400's port is typically connected directly to the Thermochron data logger. You could make a short extension if for instance the logger was being deployed a foot or so into the soil. You would need to add water protection in such an application to both protect the logger and cable. Below are a few pictures of an extension made using the DS9094F+ to retain the logger, our waterproof cable, and Amazing GOOP Marine for waterproofing:

A: Thank you for the inquiry. I don't believe the eTemperature Software developer has extended support for the TDHC400. However, the TDHC400 comes with its own free software, TDHC Manager, for collecting the Thermochron downloads. The data is then made available in a CSV file.
