The STFSR-12 temperature sensors is designed for general-purpose
temperature measurement applications in the temperature range of -55 to 125
Deg. C.. It is constructed of 8-18 Stainless Steel Foil for durability and is adhesive
backed for easy attachment to flat surfaces or pipes. The STF has good chemical resistance
properties to acids, alkalies, ketones, esters, allphatics, aromatics, and
outdoor exposure. Our STFSR-12 temperature sensor is equipped with a DS18S20
1-Wire temperature sensor embedded into the foil tape. The sensor is
manufactured using a special process that insures the internal sensor is
thermally coupled to the stainless steel foil; this helps insure rapid sensor
response to changing conditions.
The STPSR-12 comes equipped with an RJ11 plug installed on the cable end. We
have already taken the extra steps necessary during the plug installation to
properly configure the sensor for parasitically powered operation. It is
compatible with most 1-Wire bus masters right out of the box.
